On this episode of The Vonu Podcast, I finally somewhat return to our old “TVP Interviews” series, wherein we host discussions with self-liberators to talk about their philosophy, liberated lifestyle(s), their location, & more.
Today, I’m pleased to welcome Barend & Maarten to the show.
Barend spent about a decade living on a sailboat in a harbor with his neighbor, Maarten, but has now returned to somewhat more conventional living, with a focus on philosophy and advocacy of Geoism (Georgism).
Maarten has a dual lifestyle, splitting time between his sailboat in the harbor and van nomadism across Europe. At present, he’s awaiting a mast repair and then is hoping to go on some actual sailing ventures (even though short, and primarily freshwater).
From recent travels, he offers great insights on the growing totalitarianism and border controls, even throughout the E.U., and even a couple unique possibilities for self-liberators looking for land in certain E.U. countries.
