TVP Intermission #33: Living in Anarchy with Lily Forester

On December 9th, just over a year ago, I interviewed John Galton and Lily Forester at their home in Acapulco, Mexico, right near the end of my month and half long vacation there.

They introduced me to dabs, the carnivore diet, and they re-confirmed what I already knew: lifestyle changes, whether diet-based or self-liberation-based, are really the most efficacious paths towards personal freedom and development.

When I left their house the last time, I told them both I would be back and that I wouldn’t be so broke next time. Ha. I mention money here, as John and Lily were both so generous and hospitable, especially when it came to meat and cannabis. I always enjoyed my time with them and I knew then that I was inspired by their story and wanted to help out in whatever ways I possibly could.

Unfortunately, though, just a couple short months later, John was killed and Jason Henza was shot.

Since February, Lily has been rebuilding her life, now out of Acapulco, but still in Mexico. On this special episode of The Vonu Podcast, we catch up with her and discuss:

  • Her story
  • Rebuilding after facing the most vicious form of coercion (John’s murder)
  • Her website/work
  • The status of her legal case in the US now that legalization is being discussed on the federal level
  • And much more…
